Instructions for Breakout Rooms (15 minutes)

Go to your pre assigned URL (see below)

• Take a few minutes and review the case study. Look for sources that help to tell more complete narratives about Northern Plains histories and cultures.
• As a small group, discuss and pick ONE example to share with the large group. Be prepared to share:
  • The supporting question topic (Land, Kinship, or Nation)
  • The Native Nation (Crow, Northern Cheynne, Oceti Sakowin, Three Affiliated Tribes)
  • One example of a source that helps to tell a more complete narrative and why
• Determine who will be your group’s spokesperson. When the breakout session ends, each group will have about a minute to present.
• At the end of your breakout session, be sure to navigate back to the Zoom meeting and click the blue "Leave room" button to rejoin the main meeting.
