Montana and the Great War: Reading List

Note: Montana The Magazine of Western History, Jon Axline, Farcountry Press, and TwoDot Press graciously provided permission to post pdfs of the articles they published on World War I as part of this project. You can find them through links below. We have also provided links to theses published online through Scholarworks and to articles posted on JSTOR, an online research platform. You can access the material on JSTOR through participating institutions. Most of the material is also available by registering for an individual account. Find the books at your local library or  bookstore or ask your librarian about borrowing them through interlibrary loan.
