State-owned Heritage Properties

The 2011 Montana Legislature passed amendments (SB3) to the Montana State Antiquities Act (MCA 22-3-424) requiring state agencies to report biennially to the State Historic Preservation Review Board on their stewardship of state-owned heritage properties. Upon review of these reports, the Preservation Review Board and the State Historic Preservation Office will prepare a report and recommendations to the Legislature and the Governor's Office. This page contains information pertaining to these reports. For further information, contact the State Historic Preservation Office.
