Legislative Spouses Club Gives $2,000 for
SENATE ART PROJECT

Members of the Montana Legislative Spouses Club gathered in the well of the Montana Senate with Montana Historical Society Director Richard Sims and Senate President Mike Cooney recently to present a $2,000 check to help pay for the new Lewis and Clark bas relief on the wall above the Senate rostrum. The Society was charged by the Legislature to create a Lewis and Clark scene for the Senate and to pay for it from the sale of artworks based on the artwork chosen. The Society still has some medallions and scale replicas of the Senate artwork for sale. Interested persons can call 1-406-444-1799 for more information.
