Members of the Montana Legislative Spouses Club gathered in the well of the Montana Senate with Montana Historical Society Director Richard Sims and Senate President Mike Cooney recently to present a $2,000 check to help pay for the new Lewis and Clark bas relief on the wall above the Senate rostrum. The Society was charged by the Legislature to create a Lewis and Clark scene for the Senate and to pay for it from the sale of artworks based on the artwork chosen.
