Session proposals - Proposals are welcome on all topics relating to:
 
  • The history and pre-history of the area now known as Glacier National Park
  • The geology and natural history of Glacier National Park
  • The stories of the peoples who lived in the area before it became a park
  • The environmental history of the area
  • The history of other Montana parks
  • The story of Western travel and tourism
  • The place of outdoor recreation and leisure in the Treasure State
  • The cultural history of the region, including art, literature, and film

The 2010 Western Rendezvous of Art


Join us for the Western Rendezvous of Art, a first-class event that brings together artists and art lovers from across the nation. Four fun-filled days featuring a show and sale of the best in contemporary art, along with great experiences takes place right here in Helena, Montana, each August.

The 32nd annual Western Rendezvous of Art will be held August 19-22, 2010. You’ll find a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere where art is at the heart of your experience!

The Western Rendezvous of Art features works by artists of the Northwest Rendezvous Group. Proceeds benefit the Montana Historical Society’s art acquisition fund and art programs.
